CAPTAIN – Michalis Zarokostas

Captain Michalis holds a Captain Class A’ Certificate and has been serving onboard Containerships of Costamare Shipping Co. for the last 10 years. He belongs in the new generation of very capable Masters, entrusted with the command of the more modern and large Container Vessels. His experience at sea is not limited onboard Containerships, but during the summer time, he has been sailing around the Greek island with his Private yacht. He is a dynamic, hard worker, and very pleasant character who always does his outmost to maintain the highest of standards.

CHIEF ENGINEER – Thanassis Christofis

Our Chief Engineer, Thanassis, has been in sea service for about 17 years. After graduating from the Merchant Marine Academy, Engineering Dept., he worked on Ocean going vessels. In recent years he has been working on mega yachts as Chief Engineer. His technical knowledge is essential to make the yacht sail in accordance with the international safe navigation requirements. He is 43 years old, father of two children and has a good knowledge of English. His favourite hobby is reading all sort of technical books.
